Heather C. Donahue is a fierce advocate for her clients. Heather began her journey towards advocacy at The University of Georgia, where she graduated with a B.A. in Political Science with a focus on International Studies. After several years in the private business sector, Heather began her public service work in the Superior Court of Cobb County. There, Heather worked in the Alternative Dispute Resolution office and became a GODR certified mediator. This experience gave Heather access to the inner workings of the Superior Court and its administrative and judicial resources.
While working in Cobb Superior Court, Heather confirmed what her Mother knew when Heather was 12, that she would be an attorney. While going to law school part-time at night, Heather continued working in the Cobb Superior Court and the Fulton Superior Court. Heather assisted in the leadership of the Court Ambassadors program in the Fulton Superior Court as well as worked closely with the media during the Brian Nichols trial. Also, Heather worked in the Business Court of the Fulton County Superior Court where she assisted the Judges in the handling of high-dollar, complex civil litigation involving major corporations.
After graduating law school in 2011, Heather worked in Buckhead at The Cohan Law Group, PC, practicing civil law with a focus on employment law, divorce law, and complex business civil litigation. Heather then came back home to Cobb County and began practicing solely domestic and family law.
Being a survivor of divorce herself, and a single parent, Heather has a creative and strong approach to client advocacy and is dedicated to the pursuit of justice for all parents and parties involved in divorce.
Heather is excited to bring her experience and expertise to Reese-Beisbier & Associates, PC.
