Alyson Maxwell, a native of Orange County, California, after graduating from the University of San Diego with a degree in Sociology, Alyson lived in the Bay Area where she worked as a behavior consultant for children and adults with pervasive developmental disorders. In 2005, she and her husband moved to the South to join a fledgling family business and never moved back! She had two children, became a yoga instructor and ultimately obtained her paralegal certification. After her divorce, and a decade of working in general civil litigation, Alyson decided she wanted to be able to be there for people going through the process of divorce and thus, began looking at transitioning to family law. She is thrilled to be a part of the Reese-Beisbier team and a firm of professionals known for their knowledge of the law, integrity and compassion.
